Not only was the beautiful village location idyllic, but the well-appointed property far surpassed the photos online. the housekeeping was impeccable, with every detail taken care of, including providing all necessary kitchen equipment, linens, and toiletries. the owners went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect, even returning a forgotten hairbrush promptly. the private garden was a peaceful oasis, and I appreciated the convenience of the washing machine and dryer on site. the proximity to Durham City made exploring easy, and I highly recommend a visit to Beamish Living Museum. I cannot fault Mill Cottage and had the best holiday thanks to the exceptional hospitality and amenities provided.
